Destination and Arrival

You’ve got to know where you’re going. There no greater way to blow an interview than to be late.

Verify the exact location of the interview, as well as the interviewer’s name including pronunciation. Plan your route. Have a backup route planned, just in case there is traffic that might delay your arrival. Visit Google Maps to plan your route.

Late arrival for a job interview will give the interviewer the perception that you are disorganized and not punctual.

Arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled interview time. Don’t forget to turn off your devices. An interruption in the middle of an interview is not only distracting, but disrespectful.
